Types of Nose Jobs

Whether you feel that your nose is too large, too small, too asymmetrical, or otherwise does not fit in with the rest of your face, there are various cosmetic procedures available to help you to look your best. You can choose from surgical or non-surgical options, and there are pros and cons for each.

Rhinoplasty, or nose job, can be done surgically for major alterations or if you are looking for more permanent results. There are two major types of surgical nose job, the open approach and the closed approach. Incisions are made inside the nose for the closed approach, though this allows very little room for the surgeon to work. Any scarring is minor for an open approach.

For smaller changes that range from temporary to semi-permanent, you may wish to think about a non-surgical option. Non-surgical nose jobs are often referred to as celebrity nose jobs. This could be because you can get almost immediate results in a very short time so that you can continue on with your busy schedule without missing a beat. Dermal fillers can be injected to add fullness, volume, or lift to precise locations on or around the nose.
